Cars, Cars, Cars

As there might be a new car in our future, we decided last week to hit the Milwaukee Auto show to see if we could find one or two models that got us excited.  The short answer - not so much.  While there are lots of car options, we didn't find one that we said - we must have that.  But we did manage to focus our future seeking into a type of car - most likely a crossover.  We need something on the smallish side to make parking at our condo easy and we like a car that we don't have to sit down into - old knees and joints are making that ever more difficult.  We also figured that we would probably like to continue to have a hybrid since it would be hard to give up the fuel efficiency.  So while we did manage to narrow down our options, we weren't able to get to just one choice.  Just means there is a couple weeks of work in the future traipsing from car dealership to car dealership test driving cars.

For the weekend, we headed to Madison to take in our last home basketball game - Badgers scraped out a win, just barely - and a show at the Overture Center.  We saw the King and I which is the first time we had seen the musical version.  We had both seen Yul Brenner in the movie version - but the stage musical was a bit different.  Good performance, although we both struggled to understand some the "British" accents some of the cast were using.

The rest of the time we had fun continuing to work on our 3,000 piece puzzle and breakfasting at a couple of diners around town.  Sunday, we joined Kathy and John at "The Curve" for our favorite omelet and french toast in town.  The food almost made up for the bitter cold temperatures - in March!
